Sabrina Swan
Sabrina Swan is the manager of Children’s Court Services (CCS), a program of the Houston Area Women’s Center. She began her career over 30 years ago with CCS as a court advocate providing information, support and court preparation to children who are victims of or witnesses to crime in Harris County. She has
accompanied hundreds of children and their families to court and often sits up beside the children during their testimony. She has testified multiple times in support of closed circuit testimony for children in certain circumstances. She provides training and supervision to the other CCS advocates and advises prosecutors interviewing child witnesses. Sabrina has been involved with the Harris County Children’s Assessment Center since its onset and has been a member of the HCCATF for more than 30 years. She is also a 2018 recipient of the Houston Area Women’s Center Shero Award. www.hawc.org
