Claire L. Kirk, PhD
Dr. Kirk is an Assistant Professor and Licensed Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She engages in clinical work, teaching, and research, with a specialization in childhood trauma. Dr. Kirk has worked with trauma-exposed youth across a variety of settings throughout her career, including juvenile justice, foster care, schools, and hospitals. She aims to improve accessibility and quality of trauma-focused mental health care to better serve the children and families of Southeast Texas.
